DESCRIPTION:The play *When the Sun Fell* is set in motion by an unusual e
 vent that instantly wipes out both daylight and modern means of communic
 ation. As a result of this inexplicable phenomenon\, a group of people f
 rom very different backgrounds finds themselves gathered together in the
  yard of a remote house. With the exception of a family of four\, no one
  knows each other beforehand\, but in this extraordinary situation\, the
 y have no choice but to work together. To communicate and encounter anot
 her person face-to-face\, without the protection offered by digital comm
 unication tools.\n\nAt the heart of the play is Mikko Kuustonen’s magn
 ificent music\, which carries Veera Tyhtilä’s strikingly insightful s
 tory. The play *When the Sun Fell* features about twenty of Kuustonen’
 s songs. In addition to his biggest hits\, the setlist includes many les
 ser-known gems\, and may even feature previously unreleased material.\n\
 nThe cast features Mikkeli Theater’s own actors (Tuuli Anikari\, Alma-
 Ruut Karjalainen\, Marjaana Manninen\, Riina Uimonen\, Benjamin Klemetti
 nen\, Risto Kopperi\, and Vintte Viitanen) along with one guest performe
 r (Aapo Oranen)\, accompanied by a four-piece band led by Juho Puikkonen
 . Tuomas Kesälä is responsible for the musical arrangements and rehear
 sals. The world premiere of *When the Sun Fell* is directed by Pekka Laa
