DESCRIPTION:The Suur-Savo Museum’s temporary exhibition\, opening in Ma
 y 2026\, will focus this time on the museum’s coin collection. The exh
 ibition provides an overview of the currencies used in Finland\, from Sw
 edish öre to the common currency\, the euro. It also examines\, among o
 ther things\, archaeological coin finds from Southern Savo and banking a
 ctivities.\n\nThe exhibition will be on view at the Suur-Savo Museum fro
 m May 8\, 2026\, to March 6\, 2027.\nThe museum is open from May through
  August\, Tuesday through Saturday\, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.\, and from Septemb
 er through March\, Wednesday and Saturday\, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.\n\nSpecial 
 opening hours:\nClosed on public holidays: May 14\, June 19–21\, Decem
 ber 6\, and December 24–26\, 2026. On the eve of public holidays\, the
