Äijänsuo, also known as Gubbmossen, is a nature destination featuring a bog located in the Linnaisten neighborhood. On the Vantaa side, this 18.5-hectare area—which was designated a protected area in 2003—features a mix of pine-covered bogs, small open patches of marsh, and old-growth forests along the marsh’s edges. Trails allow visitors to explore the western side of the marsh and the rocky outcrops along its eastern edge. One trail starts at the end of Linnaistentie, and the city’s official address for the area is Viikatetie 2. The trails are not marked as a single, guided route.
