Hotel Hetan Majatalo is a family-run hotel and guesthouse in northern Lapland, in Enontekiö. It is the oldest family-owned tourism business in Lapland, run by the same family—now in its fourth generation. The cozy and idyllic atmosphere, combined with the kind and professional service provided by the host family, will make your stay truly unique and personalized. Hetan Majatalo offers spacious hotel rooms as well as charming, old-fashioned rooms that have been preserved in the spirit of days gone by. Shared restrooms are located in the hallway, and showers and saunas are in our main building. The rooms have a retro atmosphere, and if the walls could speak, they would have many stories to tell dating back to the early 1950s. The guesthouse rooms are available for booking from June through September. The saunas are heated in the evenings, and our buffet is famous for its traditional delicacies. The hotel is situated right in the center of the village of Hetta / Enontekiö, yet the wilderness begins right behind the hotel. We offer—free of charge or for rent—a traditional Lapp hut, kick sleds, toboggans, village bikes, snowshoes, cross-country skis, and a wood-heated sauna...
