Forngården House Museum – Group Reservations

The Forngården House Museum in Snappertuna showcases life on an archipelago farm in the mid-19th century.

The Forngården House Museum in Snappertuna showcases life on an archipelago farm in the mid-19th century. The complex of relocated buildings includes the old main house as well as, among other things, a granary, a fishing hut, a barn, and a smithy. A forest trail about half a kilometer long leads from the museum to the ruins of Raasepori Castle. The museum’s regular summer season has ended. Visits in the fall require a special opening arranged in advance with the museum for a fee; a regular admission ticket or Museum Card alone does not entitle visitors to access the museum when it is closed.
