Kapiainen Vacation Cottages are located along Highway 15 in the village of Halmeniemi, Mäntyharju. We offer well-equipped villas and cabins of various sizes, particularly suited for families with children, small groups, and fishing enthusiasts, on the shores of Lakes Kukasjärvi and Korpijärvi.

Our family-run business has been renting out vacation cottages since 1968, so we have extensive experience in knowing what our guests expect from their vacations. The cottages are built on sunny and sheltered lakeside lots, right on the water’s edge. Depending on the season, you can enjoy the morning and evening sun from our cottages.

Things to Do on a Cottage Vacation
Here, vacation days are best spent swimming and enjoying the sauna, as well as rowing and fishing on the lake, since our lakes—with their shallow shores, sandy bottoms, and clear waters—are excellent spots for swimming and fishing. There are also excellent areas for picking berries and mushrooms near the cottages.

In the winter, our cottages on Lake Korpijärvi offer access to cross-country ski trails through the forest and on the ice. Most cottages also offer the chance to take a refreshing dip in an ice hole during the winter, and, if desired, you can order a hot tub to be delivered to your cottage yard from one of our partners.

Distances
Our cottages are located about 30 km from the services in Mäntyharju, 200 km from Helsinki, 50 km from Mikkeli, 60 km from Kouvola, and about 80 km from Lappeenranta.

Welcome to a vacation in the beautiful natural lake scenery—all year round!
