The Maahisenkierros viewpoint is located in the woods near Haltia and Solvalla in Espoo. Built on a rocky outcrop, the viewing platform offers a view of the southern end of Pitkäjärvi Lake in Nuuksio and the forested lake uplands. There are benches on the platform for a snack break. You can reach it via a separate trail leading to the Maahisenkierros viewpoint; the entire loop trail is about two kilometers long. The trailhead is located near the Solvalla parking area at Nuuksiontie 82. The map marker in this announcement indicates the viewing platform, not the parking area. The Maahisenkierros is a challenging, accessible trail: wheelchair users will need an assistant, and the trail is suitable only during the snow-free season. The trail is not maintained in winter.
