Fiskars' Tree Species Trail

Fiskars’ approximately 2-kilometer tree species trail from Vanha Mylly, passing through Suutarinmäki and Lippukallio. Numbered trees and river views; the terrain is difficult to navigate in places.

The Fiskars Tree Species Trail is a designated walking route of about two kilometers through the ironworks park area and the surrounding neighborhood near downtown. The trail begins at Vanha Mylly on Göran J. Ehrnroothintie, passes through Suutarinmäki, and circles Lippukallio. Along the way, visitors can learn about various tree species; the trees are numbered in the terrain and marked on the trail map. On the trail, you can combine tree identification with the ironworks’ river scenery and the surroundings of Lippukallio. Fiskars Village notes that the trail is suitable for walking or cycling, but the map also indicates some areas with difficult terrain: the entire route is not guaranteed to be accessible. For parking, visitors are advised to use the parking area at Peltorivi 1 on Fiskars Square or the Lukaali parking lot; the starting point is at Vanha Mylly. The map marker shows the immediate area of the southern part of the tour. This announcement applies to the tree species tour; the ironworks museums, restaurants, and other indoor facilities operate according to their own policies. Check the trail conditions and follow the route map. Contact information is available from Fiskars Village Customer Service.
