The Kellokoski Hospital Museum is located in the Blue House on the grounds of the former hospital. Founded in 1973, the museum’s exhibition explores the history of psychiatric care, the hospital’s wartime years, and the lives of patients and staff. On display are medical instruments, photographs, documents, and handicrafts made by patients. The museum is housed in the former doctor’s residence, built in the 1930s, to which the collections were moved in 2000. HUS owns the museum, and the Tuusula Museum is responsible for its operation. During the winter season, the museum can be visited by appointment. The date and details of group visits must be arranged with the Tuusula Museum’s reservation coordinator prior to arrival.
