In the Kytäjä–Usmi recreational area in Hyvinkää, you can hike through landscapes of forests, cliffs, and ponds. The Jaanankallio parking area on Kytäjäntie 625 is, among other things, the starting point for the 6.1-kilometer Haiskari Loop. The trail runs mainly along forest roads and passes by the Iso-Haiskari Pond rest area, which features a lean-to and a dry toilet. The trail is open to the public free of charge. The rocky and, in places, narrow trails are not suitable for strollers, and the trail is not maintained in winter. There may be occasional vehicle traffic on the forest roads. Stay on the marked trails, keep your dog on a leash, and be mindful of nature conservation areas. Open fires are prohibited during fire warnings or when there is an obvious fire hazard. The office hours announced by the city do not apply to the outdoor trail. The phone number and email address listed are the City of Hyvinkää’s general contact information, not the contact information for staff on duty along the trail.
