The Vaivero Mill Farm is a house museum and heritage site managed by the Hyvinkää Society, located along the Vantaa River. The old residential building, outbuildings, and courtyard by the rapids tell the story of a miller’s family and the history of local agriculture. The area is ideal for a peaceful, self-guided excursion and exploring the historic built environment. The courtyard is open year-round, but the road leading there is not plowed in the winter. Access to the interiors of the buildings is available during organized events or by prior appointment. Please arrange an indoor tour with the Hyvinkää Society before your visit and check the association’s calendar for the dates of specific events. The visiting address provided by the administrator is Myllytilantie 36, behind the Swiss Ski Center.
