"Pokka" is playing at the Mikkeli Theater

A comedy based on the hugely popular TV series *Keeping Up Appearances*, in which the infuriatingly lovable Mrs. Hyacinth Bucket (pronounced
“Bukee”) both charms and infuriates those around her. Once again, Hyacinth drives those around her to the brink of rage, this time by practically forcing her way into the local drama club.
The situation isn’t helped at all by the fact that the club is run by Hyacinth’s neighbor Emmet, assisted by his sister Elizabeth. Since there aren’t exactly a lot of potential performers, Emmet, gritting his teeth, gives Hyacinth a dual role.
Of course, Hyacinth’s colorful sisters Rose and Daisy—who are regular members of the drama club—also stick their noses into the mix, not to mention the foul-mouthed Onslow.
The play is directed by Panu Raipia.
